Here's part 2! And Happy New Year!
Top 35 Talented Actresses Age 35 and Under, #'s 30-26
30. Saorsie Ronan (Age 16)
I’ve still only seen her in Atonement yet she really struck a chord in that film. She deserved all the praise she received. She has a few promising upcoming projects and is certainly someone to keep your eyes on.
29. Melanie Lynskey (Age 33)
She's one of those who crosses over onto my underrated actress list as well as my talented list. She’s really wonderful and it’s been nice to see her a little more often lately. Here’s hoping she doesn’t continue to waste her talents on Two and a Half Men and can get a nice meaty leading role. Either way, she’s always consistent.
28. Melanie Laurent (Age 27)
Only seen Melanie in one film but she rather captivated me. I can’t wait to experience more from her. She really is quite a talent and I look forward to seeing what else she can do.
27. Kelly Macdonald (Age 34)
Kelly’s been wonderful since Trainspotting. More recently she’s received some more exposure, first from No Country for Old Men and more recently from HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. I’ve only seen two episodes of that show but she’s doing a good job.
26. Eva Green (Age 30)
I loved Eva in The Dreamers and Casino Royale. She’s the kind of young actress who should be getting Megan Fox like attention except she can actually act. It’s rather frustrating when things like that happen but in the long run Eva, and others like her, are better off as the pressure to accept mainstream crap film work is not as strong. Also, can I just say I was utterly shocked discover she is 30 years old. She looks 25, at most.
