Top 10 Films of the Decade I must rewatch
These are the films of the decade that I, personally, must rewatch. It's a self-indulgent list for my own records, really. The majority of these are films I am very fond of yet cannot remember as well as I should. Some I’ve seen only once when they first came out. Some I remember more than others. Perhaps a repeat viewing will change my opinion for better or worse? It's also extremely possible that a revisit will allow some of these films to secure a spot on my 50 greatest films of the decade; particularly number one on this list which I sadly only have a scattered recollections of. The order here is basically the degree of personal necessity for a repeat viewing, as well some degree of want as well.
10. Good Night, and Good Luck. (Clooney, 2005)
9. Munich (Spielberg, 2005)
8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Gondry, 2004)
7. Memento (Nolan, 2000)
6. Amelie (Jeanut, 2001)
5. Adaptation (Jonze, 2002)
4. Minority Report (Spielberg, 2002)
3. The Pianist (Polanski, 2002)
2. Gosford Park (Altman, 2001)
1. Mulholland Drive (Lynch, 2001)

The 2nd time I saw Mulholland Drive I thought of lot of its impact had been lost; just doesn't stand up, I can only conclude, to the repeat viewings of Lynch's best (Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart).
But the two here I will avoid forever: The Pianist. One of the most overrated films of all time, incredibly dull. Brody sleepwalks through it.
And Dear Lord - Gosford Park!!!! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!
Categorically the most boring film I've ever seen. Pure torture - and what's worse, it seemed to drag on into infinity....................g od, I hated that film. What was its running time? Eight hours or something?

David - Hi! Thanks for reading. See, I know I loved The Pianist, so I'm excited for that rewatch. And I did like Gosford Park but I don't think I was as in love with it as everyone else is. I want to watch it more on an asthetic level rather than pure plot... either way, I'm excited to rewatch all and my boyfriend hasn't seen the majority of them so it's always great to show him films.
