Decade in Comic Book Films: My Awards

December 10th 2009 01:17
So instead of doing all lists, CinemaEnthusiast and I decided to do two sections that simply named the best and worst out of a particular category. We decided to do Comic Book/Graphic Novel Film Adaptations since there were oh so many this decade. The other category we decided to do this for was simply best remake and worst remake. That will be posted after this list.

Best Performance in a Comic Book/Graphic Novel Adaptation

Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight (2008, Nolan)

Worst Performance in a Comic Book/Graphic Novel Adaptation

I agree with A History of Violence as best. BUT The dark Knight/batman Begins, Rodriguez's Sin City sits pretty close on that mantle as does Ghost World and American Splendor.

Best invented comic book film is Unbreakable for me, but I know you hated that one.

Best perfomance for me would be Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian in Watchmen...in the Dark Knight Aaron Eckhart stole it for me.

Best couple, Gwenyth really...for me it would be Marv and Goldie in Sin City or Leonidas and Queen Gorgo in 300

The worst is a tough call, i won't argue with Catwoman but The Fantastic 4, Daredevil, Ghost Rider and Spiderman 3 were just as painful.
